Benefit by
Several Programs
Are you caring for a
friend, family member
or spouse? We are here to help.
Please contact your local office of Senior
Services Associates. Help is just around
the corner:

Yorkville—630-553-5777
McHenry—815-344-3555
Elgin—847-741-0404
Here are some of the services we
can offer
Caregivers:
Respite
Funding: When
caregivers need to
take a short break from their responsibilities,
in-home care, adult daycare
and overnight services are available for
their loved one.
Emergency
Support: Extreme
problems and
unexpected situations can arise,
such as loss of housing. Crisis support
is offered for these unforeseen problems.
Information
and Assistance: Caregivers need a network of support to
help them do their
job better. Information and
assistance connects caregivers to the
necessary service agencies that can help.
Counseling, support groups, education and training referrals are
also available.
Education: Powerful Tools
for Caregivers is a
six-part educational program that
is designed to help caregivers focus on
self-care while taking care of older adults,
family or friends. Sessions focus on
how to lower stress and increase problem
solving skills. Call the office near
you to find out when a new course will
begin in your area. These
services and programs are being made available due to the
passage of federal
legislation called the National Family
Caregiver Support Program.
